WELLINGTON SHARE MARKET. A fair business was done yesterday in mining shares. Talismans were slightlv weaker, with sale at 515.; Weihis chanced hands at 61s. 3d. The small stocks are more in evi-dencc, although there are otiiy occasional transactions in them. The sales recorded yesterday were as under:— Occidental, 23d. (second call). Talisman, 51s. 6d. (first call); 51s. (second call). Waihi, 61g. 6d., 61s. 3d. (first call). Waihi Grand Junction. 265. 6d., ?6s. 6d. (first, call); 275. (second call); 275. 3d' (third call).
