i * | THEATRE ROYAL. "The Tramp's Good Luck" is the litlc of a clever M;elch in which Harris and Vernon are making merry at the Theatre Royal. They arc a bright duo, who dance cleverly into everyone's favour. Jim Marion,'the tired comedian, is a capable jester, and the SeylTer Twins are clever acrobats and . (lancers. Several "last nights" of popular favourites are announced. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The programme of pictures at His Majesty's continues to attract, largo houses. A new lot of films direct _ from London will he exhibited this evening. KING'S THEATRE. The boisterous weather of lost evening made little impression on the attendance at the King's Theatre last night. Another change of programme will be submitted this evening. THE NEW THEATRE. The programme at the New Theatre is rich in excellent kinemategraph studies, capitally produced. A-particularly beautiful' and artistic picture is "A Story of Flowers," in which an array of exquisite blooms are exhibited in various stages of development. Lovers of horticulture should not miss this unique film. "A Brave Western Girl" relates the story of a western girl who discovers a rich claim by accident. As she 'is poring over a niece of rich quartz she is overpowered by an unscrupulous gang, including a woman, who take her prisoner and keep her in close confinement until they secure possession of the claim. But a faithful Indian girl learns of the girl's incarceration and leads a gang of rescuers to the hut, where the girl is making a gallant struggle for liberty. They release her and then hasten on to capture tho whole gang of evildoers, which feat is successfully accomplished. Other good pictures are. "Forty-five Minutes from Broadway" (a good "comic"), "A Red Girl's Friendship," and "The Children's Revolt." Tho nrogramme is attractincr lar<rc houses dav and night. SKATING RINK. Fullers' Skating Rink is still claiming large attendances, although the -weather is not all that could be desired to cain the best results. The management, have been fortunate in securing the services of Madame Read, the English expert fancy and trick skater, from the Olympia Rinks, London, who will give exhibitions of her artistic abilities at an early date. Tho usual sessions are announced for today. ARTS CLUB. The first musical evening of the Arts Club's season will be held at the club to-night. "THE CREATION." The Wellington Choral Society will give a- rendering of "Tho Creation" in the Town Hall on Friday. May 5. The box plan opens at tho Dresden to-morrow morning at 9 o'clock.
