/. WELLINGTON SHAKE MARKET. The market for mining shares was very quiet yesterday, and none of the biE shares received attention. Tairua Broken Hills experienced a sharp advance durinc the day, rising from Is. 3d. to Is. 6Jd. The sales recorded were as under:— New Sylvia, 2s. 7(1. (third call). Tairua Broken Hills, Is. 3d.
