THE LONDON BUTTER MARKET
' AUSTRALIA'S OUTPUT HEAVY. It is well known that the quantity of Australasian butter received on the London market this season is much greater than that "received in any other season. The London house of a Wellington firm has sent the following advice on this matter: — "The quantity of butter received into London and afloat for that destination ■from Australasia for the season commencing July 1 last up to March' 7, •1911,'. totals. 1,892,000 'boxes, as compared with 1,450.000 boxes for the corresponding period of last year —an increase of 442,000 boxes. ; "In view of. theso heavy shipments (added tho communication) to the United Kingdom, prices which obtained there.this season may be considered fairly' satisfactory,"
