SOME NEW TROPHIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ..-,.■■ Feilding, April 22. At a meeting of the committee of the A. and P. Association, it was reported that Mr.' 'J. M'Jlanaway had offered a • 25-guinea challenge cup for an open hunters' competition. Jfr. Jas. Campion gives il"cfip ,, fof'th'e'"la(lie3"'h , unters competition, and Mr. IT. Bowen a cup of the value of £5 ss. for boys' pony jumping, Mr. F. F. Haggitt a' cup for the girls' pony jumping, Mr. D. S. Poole a tenguinea cup for tts Yorkshire boar championship, Mr. Duncan a cup for fat sheep points prize, and Mr. W. Eeid a ten-guinea cup for a points prize in all the sheep classes. The association decided to send a remit to the Agricultural Conference to the effect that the judges be asked to judge sheep on points for character, symmetry, and wool.
