HARRIERS.

THE WELLINGTON CLUB. Tho usual Saturday afternoon run by members of the Wellington Harrier Club was held at Karori, tho (ea gardens being the spot of meeting. C. W. Ko\vberry and F. B. Bowborry were dispatched as hares, but the trail laid was not. tho best for fast work. The muster being small, tho iisiinl procedure was dropped, and n run through was held. The first man home was W. B. Bennolt, ho Iwinj,' followed by F. C. Piiickne.v and W. Power, with the rest of (he pack closo at hand. Tho distance covered was spoilt five miles. Next Saturday's run win be from Mr. T. Johnson's wharo, at Lyall Bay. Intending members are invited. THE BROOKLYN CLUB. On Saturday afternoon seventeen members mustered at To Aro Baths to (nke part in the weekly run. The hares (W. Wilson and G. Brislnw) led a trail from tho ballis along Oriental Bay, up the y.i/j. zng until Mount Victoria was reached, then along tho hill-tops to Constable Street, niui down to Lyall Bay. Then a turn was made for homo via Kilbirnio and Kosoneath. A handicap run-in was hold over the last 800 yards, and resulted in a- win for S. Murray, with W. l'oynton and H. Hobbs second and third respectively. The run next Saturday will start from tho Dominion Tea Rooms, Karori, at 3 p.m. sharp.
