Imported fruit sold fairly well on the '..Wellington market this week. South Australian grapes sold at an average of lis. a box of 241b. Melbourne pears brought 12s. to 13s a bushel case, and South Australian lemons 13s. ' to 16s. Passion fruit from Australia arrived i on Thursday, and was sold at from 7s. ; to Bs. per half gin case. The next supply of bananas from ••Fiji is due on April 27.
