INCENDIARISM.
Auckland, April 20.Mr. Grcsham, Coroner, found that tho firo in Tipper's motor garage in Quay Street occurrcd in the basement at 10.45 p.m. on March 10, and there was evidence sufficient to show that the firo was wilfully occasioned, but : by whom there.' is no proof.
' AT HOWDEN'S BUILDINGS. Tho Fire Brigade weio called upon to extinguish a fire at Ilowden's Buildings,' corner of Parish and Victoria Streets, about 7.32 o'clock last night. The outbreak originated in the basement, occupied by Mr. A. Murdoch, manufacturing; chemist. Only trifling damage was done.
