The Rev. J. G. Wheen, general secretary of the Methodist Minsiunury Society of Australasia, who arrived ltoni Sydney on Wednesday by tho Warrinioo, went ou bv tile tame boat last night to open his New Zealand campaign in the Cathedral Cilv. Arrangements are being completed lor"his visit to Wellington 111 June, and the itinerary drawn out is as follows:— June 7, l'etonc; June a, Island bay; June 0, Johnsonville; Sunday, June 11, Newtown ancl Taranaki Street; June 11!, Thorndon; June 13, .Newtown; June 14, Taranaki Street; Juno 15, Central Mission; Sunday, Juno 25, liutt and I'etone. Arrangements have been nindo lor an allday foreign mission convention lo be held at Wesley Church, Tarannki Street, oil June 11, at which the liev. J. G. Wheen will bo the principal speaker. The Hevs. J. G. Chapman, J. Ward, B. 11. Ginger, S. 11. 1). I'erynian, A. .1. S'eainer, J. ]{. Clark, i'\ Rands, C. It. Olds, and E. 0. Blamires will also take part in Hie. morning and afternoon sessions. The Laymen's Missionary Movement and Ladies' Auxiliary of Foreign Missions will be specially advocated at the afternoon session, when Mr. 11. N._ Holmes (Y.M.C.A.) and Mrs. Blamires will be the speakers. Mr. Wheen is holding similar conventions in other large centres in New Zealand. After leaving New Zealand he will visit Samoa aud Tonga*
