Two breakfastcupfuls of Hour, 2 breakfastcupfuls of dates, and 1 of sugar, 1 tablespoonful of butter, } cup of boiiing water, j cup of cold water, 1 teaspoonful ot soda, 1 teaspooniul ot spice, i nutmeg grated. Dissolve tile butter in the hot water, and dissolve the soda in the cold water, llix all the dry ingrodients, add the water, mix anil leave all night; wet a pudding cloth; tio the pudding up loosely; boil for four hours.
