Barnes, M.P., speaking at the Conference of the Independent Labour party at Birmingham, suggested the withdrawal of the resolution instructing Labcur members to vote on every subject regardless of tho consequence to the Ministry. Mr. Keir Hardie, M.P., said he feared Liberal much more than Tory social reform. The resolution did not propose that anything should be done which the paity was not doing. Tho previous question was then moved tho motion being carried.
