DIED OF STARVATION.
FATE OF FOUR MOUNTED POLICE. By Teloeraph-Pres9 Association-Copyrieht New York, April 18. Dawson City reports tho recovery of the bodies of four of the North-West mounted police patrol, about whose safety fears were entertained. The men had died of starvation on the banks of the Peel River. They had eaten their dogs after the food supplies had been exhausted. ■ The relief party buried tho victims at Fort Macpherson, on the right bank of the Peel River.
