Such colour-combinations as I: Vieux Rose aud Mole, and Deep Pink and Blue arc all the rage. i The stylo designers have drawn their inspiration from the fashions of the \: period of the First Empire, or Rest-oration. The styles- at the end of the i. Eighteenth Century and, the early part of- the Nineteenth Century have cer- \ tainly suggested many .of the smartest effects which distinguish the Gowns of ' this season.
