HIS FUTURE PROSPECTS. (By Telcuraph.—Special Correspondent.! Akaroa, April 17. If Barry challenged him for the world's sculling championship .ho would certainly row him on the Thames provided he (Arnst). was allowed ' sufficient expenses. What ho meant by "sufficient expenses" he could not at present say. With: regard- to Pearce's challenge he (Arnst) was. determined' on <£500 or nothing. Pearce had. however, stated tliat if Kb beat Kemp on Saturday next he would get his .£SOO.
