NEW MINES BILL.
A PROTEST. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrleht (Rec. April 18, 0.40 a.m.) London, April 17. At a meeting of the Lothian and Durham miners, a resolution was carried protesting against the clause in the new Mines Bill making washing at the pithead compulsory before going home. The men stato that baths at tho pithead make them liable to colds.
