CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
A very successful meeting of the Kaiwaiwai Clay Bird Gun Club was hold on Good Friday. Three matches were fired, and were won by. tho following members of the club:— First match, 15 shots, handicap; gold meclal.-H. Hatton (Svds.), It birds; K. Maguire (13yds.), 13; 11. Jensen (18yds.), 11; M. Harriss (12yds.). 11; C. Fenwick (17yds.), 11; F. Fenwick (9yds.), 11. Second match, 10 shots, sweepstake; prizes of 305.,' 155.. and 7s. 6d.—11. Jensen (18yds.), in birds; F. Fenwick (Byds.), 8; F. Liddy (9yds.). 8. Third match, 10 shots; sweepstake and trophy (presented by Mr. A. H. Hayes, draper).—E. Maguiro (13yds.), 0 birds; H. Hatton (11yds.), 8; H. Jensen (20vds.), 7; M. Harriss (12yds.)., 7. ' Tho ladies kindly dispensed afternoon tea, and the thanks of the club are duo tn them; also to the secretary, Mr. J. Hatton. who carried out his duties in a verv able manner.
