Delegates of Plumbers' I'nions of the Dominion met in conference in the Y.11.C.A. rooms on Saturday morning lo discus? matters in connection with federation. The delegates present were: Messrs. T. M'Laughlin. R. D. Johnston, and W. Williams (Wellington). MonziVs, BillclifT, and (jogoll (Christcluirch), J. Clark (Auckland), Bisslnnd (Duncdin), and Jlillan (Timarii). Mr. MT/aiiglilin was appointed president of the conference, and Mr. Johnston secretary. It was decided that the hcndnsiarlors of the federation should be at Wellington until the next conference meets. The greater part of the day was dovnted to the consideration of the rules nf the federation. The conference is likely to last until the middle of the week. Tho second quarter of the Wellinston Technical School will commence on Thursday, April 20. Tha Welliußton Got Co.'» offlws will b« closed to-day.
