RAILWAYS AND WAR.
SPEECH BY COMMONWEALTH PRIME MINISTER, By Teleeraph-Press Association-Cop.vriehS (Rec. April 14, 10 a.m.) Perth, April 13. Mr. Fisher, the Commonwealth Prime Minister, addressing a farewell meeting, said the Government had decided that the trans-Continental railway would be one of tho first measures to be dealt with next session. He hoped that as a result of the , Imperial Conference tho people would be brought to see that it was wrong to spend money on ships for the destruction of humanity.
