Although the first, cow was low in the teat, it won because of tho number of days-it had teen in milk (over 200), from August till , March, and cows calved much later yielded no' more milk. . . ■. The cow with tho highest test (5.C) only yielded threefourths of the quantity of niilk, and .had only been in half the tinie of the winner. Jfr. Allwood, the Apiti dairy factory manager, acted as judge."
