SMALL HOLDINGS IN BRITAIN.
PROGRESS OF THE MOVEMENT, By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrisht London, April 11. The British County Councils acouired 33,335 acres for cutting up into small holdings during 1910.
The Board of Agriculture has applied to tho Development Commissioners for an annual grant of to enable the councils to appoint organisers to assist small holders in marketing goods and forming co-operative societies.
