WELSH MINING STRIKE.
ANOTHER CONFERENCE DECLINED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. April 11, 10.15 p.m.) London, April 11. The executive council of the South Wales Miners' Federation, Mr. W. Brace, Labour M.P. for South Glamorganshire, presiding, has declined to convene another general conference to discuss the strike at the Cambrian Combine's mines. The executive expressed its sincere regret that the representatives of the Miners' Federation of Great Britain should have been subjected to discourteous" treatment when visiting the Rhondda Valley in an endeavour to effect a settlement of the Cambrian trouble.
