GOLD MINE ROBBED.

THIEVES MAKE AWAY WITH MUCH OfiE. By Telcerapli—Press Association-Oojiyriirht (K-ec. April 9, 5.5 p.m.) Vionna, April 8. The Hungarian State gold-mine at Veresvig has been robbed, under sensational circumstances.

The robbers lowered themselves down a disused.shaft, and concealed themselves in tho mine. They emerged at night, armed with dynamite bombs. After they had overpowered and imprisoned the watchman, they used the dynamite to burst open the safes, which were loaded with several thousands sterling in gold, in ore buckets. Tho thieves then escaped with their booty. The robbery was discovered in the morning, when the watchman was released.
