PORTUGUESE MUTINY.
UNREST IN THE NORTH. 8 J Teleeranh—Press Asaociation-Oopyriclit (Rec. April 9, 5 p.m.) Lisbon, April 8. A wages dispute resulted in the mutiny of the Municipal Gunvd at Auspnl. The town was occupied by the Army, and the mutiny quelled. The mutineers then hoarded Iho punboat San Rafael and asked for the commander's protection. This wns refused and they wero sent ashore and arrested. The cruiser Adomustor has been pent to Oporto equipped for war and carrying troeps.
There is considerable resentment in Northern Portugal owing to the Minister for Justice's declaration that the separation of Church and State will be enforced in June.
