•CREW ESCAPE OVER THE FROZEN SEA. By TelezraDh—Press Association-Oopyrieht (Rec. April 0, 5 p.m.) Ottawa, April 8. The sealing steamer Harlow has been taught in an icefield in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, and crushed. The 130 men on board escaped across the icefield to St. Paul Island. A Government steamer has been dispatched to succour them. The Harlow. a vessel of 4212 tons gross, is owned by J. and C Harrison, Ltd., of Snnderland. She v;as built at that port in 1902. It was the captain of the Harlow who reported having seen tho explosion of a vessel at sea off tho coast near Durban shortly after the Waratah kft ,that port in July, 1909.
