SUMMARY AND.FORECAST. ■ Strong westerly winds have prevailed, and rain has fallen in many parts of the country. The barometer has been unsteady and remained low in the south. The weather improved to-day. Present indications arc for strong westerly winds, veering to southerly, changeable and showery weather generally.
