« An appreciative nudienco filled tho Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, when Mrs. Glnsson provided an enjoyable concert. Mr. J. S. Cummings occupied the chair. The following contributed vocal and elocutionary items: —Mrs. Nicklin, Misses Small, Glasson, Lankslicar, Messrs. C. R. Lankshear, Domb, and — Lankshear. Mrs. Glasson and Miss Lankshear acted as . accompanists. An amusing conundrum competition was held, and won by sailors from ships in port. The performers were accorded a vote of thanks at the conclusion of the entertainmentMrs. Glasson briefly responding.
