Ouncdin, April 6. •At a meeting of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Associa-tionto-night, the action of the Otago delegates (Jtfessrs. Marryatt.an'd Pollock) \\\ taking.up the attitude.which .they did at the meeting of, the council on Tuesday hight, was '.strongly criticised by Messrs. Roseyear (president). J. 13. Callan, jnnr. (vice-presjdent), L: Sanderson (vice-presi-dent),, and A. K. Barclay.. • A motion was unanimously carried as follows:'"That, in view of the action of Messrs. Marryatt and Pollock; in voting contrary to instructions received from the centre (particularly as they gave no intimation to the centre of any divergence between the instructions and their convictions),' their appointment as delegates of the centre .bo ..revoked."' An amendnient. in favour of passing a vote of censure was defeated, beiirg supported by only two members.
