■There are prospects of an A. and P. Association, being formed at Tnihapo shortly.' : Such a .thing,has been ".moated before,-but-the prospects, are brighter now ■•■ than .they have been previously: Taihnpe being an important • stock and general-agricultural centre, the branch of tjie Farmers' Union has taken .the sub'-, jechinto consideration. '.TKe branch is confident that an association could bo run successfully. At a meeting of the br.anch.it was decided to solicit the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce.
