SWIMMING.
THE TIIOEXDOX CLUB. The last of the scries of week-night races, under tho auspices nf the Thorudon Swimming Club, was held at the Thorndon baths last, evening. At its conclusion a presentation of a. barometer was made to Mr. J. Calnau, (ho custodian, for the courteous manner in which he has discharged his duties. The club intend presenting its prizes at a euchre party and dance, to take place on May 3.
