It is the intention of the Hon. K M'Kenzic to visit Pahiatua at the end of the present week. A deputation from tho Pahiatua Chainber of Commerce will wait upon him in reference to the Makuri water-power scheme and other matters affecting the interests of the district will also he brought under his notice. It is understood that Mr. M'Koiv/.io. who will be accompanied by Mr. K. P. Pass, M.P., will spend several days in the district. . .
