Sehodrowski. when there was a fair attendanco of buyers. The dairy stock were mostly- heifers in calf and springing; a -few having calved, and satisfactory price's were realised. AVeaners mads H6s. to 295.: in-calf heifers. £3 sa. to £4 25.: springing heifers, £4 12-3. 6d. to £5 75.. 6d.;. springing cows, £4 to £5; heifers, calved, £3 to £3 155.; bulls. £2 to ,£3 >12s: 6d:; lambs, 95.; mower, £8 10s.: rake, £4'; jack, £5 2s. 6d.; chain harrows. £i- 1C?.; dray,- £5;: sundries sold well. At the Haymarket on Saturday there was a fair yarding of pigs. Weancrs made 's. to 65.; stores, 15s. to 183. 6d.; do., small. 10s. 6d. to 145.; porkers, 255. At Rahotu' on Tuesday there, was a. good yarding, with a good, attendance of buyers. All classes were in good demand, practically ■ cvorything being sold at the. hammer. VVeaners made 235. to 585.; yearling to 15months heifers, £2 6a. 6d.; store cows, £3 to £3 17s. 6d.; forward cows. £4' 63.' to £4 175.; fat cows, £5 to £5 18s.; bulls, £2 ss. to £4 12s. 6d. At Waiwakaiho or>.. Thursday there was .a full yarding. Id.- ' Messrs. A. H. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., of Feilding, sold on Friday their usual lines, of which there were large entries. Piss made bettor values owing, to some- outside competition—no porkers or- grown sorts offering. We made a considerable turnover in pats, barley, and wheat, at prices as quoted. Fruit is still coming forward, in quantities, with exception of peaches,. of. which wo had no offering. Quotations:—Poultry: Hens (at. per pain. 25., 3s. 3d., 3s. 6d.. 45.; cockerels, is. 6d.. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.- (Palmcrston North) report,:—At our I'eilding sale held on Friday we had a very fair yarding of both cattlo and sheep, all of which sold readily under the hammer at prices highly satisfactory to vendors. Quotations:—Aged ewes, to 4s. 3d.; mixed aged ewes, to 7s. 3d.; sound-mouth ewes, to.Bs. 4d.; f.f.m. and , sound-mouth ewes in good order, to 10s.
