NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.

The apple section is a feature at the National Dairy Show, Palmcrston, and every year something new is added. The attention of local societies is directed to a champion class for tho collection of apples—six varieties, ten of each—open to fruit-growers', associations and horticultural societies. There are two other classes also for collections of a similar number, and for these there is X'l'i in prize money. A feature in the prize list is a score card for judging apples. Exhibitors will appreciate this innovation. There are 22 competitive sections for five lots of apples of all kinds of keeping varieties. Altogether a total of =£45 (enumerated in 22 classes) is offered for the apple section* /
