THE NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.

.- The nest National 1 Dairy Show ivill 'be held On June 20, 21/22, 23,1911, and .the -prize list holds out many inducements. Tho sections embrace fruit, ■vegetables, farm roots, and agricultural seeds, farmers' butter, and home industries. In each of theso divisions, 'special points prizes are also awarded, ranging- in value from £1 Is. to £2 25., besides cash prizes of £16 for apple collections. ■ Among the new features will bo .found a class for horticultural and fruit growers', societies to make a collective exhibit. Quite an innovation is a class' for .maizo cobs, with a good prize,: open to the whole island. Other .sections provided for are homo industries and farmers'.' separator and noiiseparator butter. Tho public schools ibay provides for Nature study collections, in accordance with the Education Board "syllabus, besides a class for, garden produce, £23 in prizes and a subsidy of £2 to each sohool making an exhibit is provided. Collectors of dry. grasses, .weeds, and insects _ are catered for, and-prizes amount to £15.'
