Illingworth, M.P. for Shipley \Yorks) and a Liberal Whip, was ordered to pay £50 damages in connection with tho alteration of a Unionist poster exhibited during tho election at Shipley. > The poster, depicted poverty and misery under tho title "Free-trade," which was altered to ''Tariff Reform."
