Upper House of Convocation of Canterbury has passed resolutions against the extension of divorce. A resolution, moved by the Bishop of London, was passed as follows: "That the right of parishioners to claim the use of the church c.t the services of the incumbent, for the solemnisation of marriages ought not to extend to divorced persons, whether innocent or guilty."
