THE NEW ZEALAND "V.D."
— 4 ALTERED" TO "T.D." The New Zealand A r olunteer Decoration, described shortly as the "V.D.," is to undergo a change of designation, in terms of tho following general order by the Commandant of the New Zealand Forces (Major-General. A. .T. Godley, C.8.):"The A r olunteer Forces of tho Dominion as existing under the Defence Act, 1908, having in terms of section 20 (1) of the Defence Act, 1909. become the 'Territorial Force,' it is notified for general information that officers awarded the Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers' Decoration will have the letters 'T.D.' placed after their names in the New Zealand Army List, instead of the letters 'A'.D.' as heretofore."
