WELLINGTON COURSING CLUB.

A meeting of tlio Wellington Metropolitan Coursing Club was held Inst night at the New Zenlander Hotel, Mr. J. Wareham presiding. Mr. C. Schuuer was elected a vice-president of the club. The secretary (Mr. J. J. O'Donoghue) reported that ho hnd received inquiries for hares from all parts of the country for tho club's Easter meeting, and that sixty hares wcr« coming from Canterbury. The secretary was instructed to arrango for a judge to oflicinto at tho Easter meeting; to have posters printed at once; also, to write a letter of thanks to Mr. Tlios. Burlce for his substantial donation. Tho secretary reported that he had visited the club's plumpton at Wallaccvillc, and found the ground in excellent order for the forthcoming meeting. A further meeting of the club will tako place next Wednesday night at 8 o'clock.
