RISING IN ALBANIA.
TURKISH TROOPS DEFEATED, TRIBESMEN SEIZE A TOWN. SERIOUS DISORDERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oonyricht (Rec. March 30, 0.10 a.m.) Cetinjc, March 29. Several Albanian tribes are rising. The tribesmen have already destroyed a block of houses in the Tuslii district, and in one instance seized the soldiers' rifles and ammunition. Three cannon have also been captured. Tiishi, from which the garrison had been withdrawn to protect a blockhouse at Shipchanid, has been seized.
NINE BATTALIONS DISPATCHED. OFFICERS SHOT DEAD. (Rec. March 30, 0.10 a.m.) Constantinople, March 29. Albanians returning from Montenegro have created disturbances at Scutari. Nino battalions have been sent to Albania, with Shcfkct Torgut Pasha in command of the expedition. Colonol Schlichting, the German instructor in the Army, has been shot dead in Constantinople by an Albanian soldier, who had resented a . reprimand for slackness whilo drilling. The man has been arrested. A Turkish officer has been similarly assassinated at Salonika by a reprimanded soldier.
