Tho Chief Justice, in the absence of tho Governor (Lord Chelmsford), presided over a great gathering in tho Town Hall in continuation of tho Authorised Version of the Bible Tercentenary celebrations. Heads of the various Protestant denominations gave stirring addresses on the Biblo as tho basis of faith, its influence oil home and national life and in the. mission field.
