ROADS, RAILWAYS, BRIDGES. Cabinet yesterday approved ail expenditure of dC2S,2ffi for railway works, ,£2OOO for roads, and ,£1293 for bridges. u .£■loo is to be spent on buildings at the Wereroa Experiment Farm; X 790 on improvements at Wairangi Station; and .£IOOO on account of the development of water-power at Lake Coleridge. Plans and specifications for the KawaICawa railway extension were approved. Among the railway votes is .£OOOO for the Gisborne-Uotorua railway, the route of which the Minister for Public Works has recently been over.
