A motion was submitted at the Associated Chamber of Manufacturers' Con-ferijr-o j n favour of closer trade relation betwfeen America and Australia. St aval members wero of opinion that tho motion was trenching on the realm of international frolitics, with which the manufacturers had no conccrn. The motion was withdrawn.
