THIRTEEN LIVES LOST. Ey T:".ctrraiih— Press Association—Ootjyrlrtt (Roc. March 27, 0.15 a.m.) Ottawa, March 26. Tho steamer Sochclt capsized in a storm oft Vancouver Island. Thirteen of tho crew were drowned. Twenty-six labourers, pnshongers from Victoria, had been landed at an intermediate port.
