Eliea Baiungartner was sentenced tc eighteen months' imprisonment at Geneve {or robbing hotel visitors. She is a member of an international gang, the proceeds of whose depredations aro eaid t< total £120,000. Nearly one hundred robberies have beer committed' by the gang 'in Switzerland and Austria, and on the Hivicra, ■A man named Hornschuh, alias Lover was head of the gang. Ho climbed uj to windows by the waterspouts, and lowered the booty. Hornschuh was tried al Bozen and sentenced to seven and a-hall yoars' imprisonment.
