Mr. Thdllon was born in Scotland, and et the ago of Iα years he entered the head office of the Edinburgh, Perth, and Dundee Eailway Company, afterwards merged into the North British Company. He was selected in England as traffic manager for Southern Queensland in 1882, and was appointed general traffic manager in 1839, Deputy-Commissioner of Railways in IS,OG, and. Commissioner in 1902. Hβ was nn Associate of the Institute of Civil Engineers, England.- For some years he held the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Australian Defence Forces as Director of Military Transport for Queensland. THE REV. D. BOSS. Sydney, March 25. The death is announced of the Bev. Donald Boss, Presbyterian minister, formerly, of New Zealand. Mr. Boss was about 80 years of age. He vras one of the first of the Presbyterian Ministers who settled in Otago. He was Btationed in Queensland for many years. After relinquishing his charge there ho lived ■ in Dnncdin for some years, and then settled in Sydney.
