Rioting has been resumed .by the Welsh colliery strikers at Cl.vdach Vale. A mob gathered on the hillside near the colliery awaiting the appearance of ft few mine officials who were greeted with volleys of stones and forced to take refuge in a neighbouring hotel. A strong police forco attempted to protect tho officials, but the mob stoned the hotel. The police thereupon charged the hillside and a severe conflict took place, tho police being armed with batons and the rioters with sticks and stones. Eventually the rioters were dislodged, but not before a number of the polico and strikers had been badly injured. Tho executive of tho South Wales Miners' Federation is continuing the'arrangements for a ballot on the terms offered by the masters. The ballot is to bo taken on Saturday. A forco of military is being held in readiness at Ton-y-pandy, TWELVE POLICEMEN INJURED. London, March 23. Twelve policemen were injured during tho rioting at Clydach Vale. A wagon containing hay and the toolsliops were set on fire. The conflict lasted for two hours,
