"STARS" COMPETE AT IVOODVILLE. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) Woodville, March. 23. Tho Woodville amateur athletic sports held hero yesterday afternoon were well attended. Added interest was lent to tho meeting b? tho presence of 11. Kerr; champion walker, and Harding, champion runner. Kerr gave a fine display, and Harding won the quar-ter-mils and half-mile, was sccond in the hop-step-and-jump, and also won tho points prize. Fisher, an ex-champion, also competed, and won the 100 yds. in line stvlc. Several members of tho Mana-w-atu Athletic Club were present, and annexed several of the events. Stohr (TaranakQ. won the 220 yds. and was second in the kOvds.
