The Carnegie Hero Fund Trustees have awarded a medallion and .C 25 to Dr. Johnstone, of Milo End Road, London for conspicuous bravery, in attending to Sergeant Lecson in the Sydney Street affair. Dr Johnstone, while under continual lire from the aliens, remained with the wounded officer and helped to remove him to a place of safety.
