The death is announced from plague at Mukden, Manchuria, of Dr. A. F. Jackson. Ho went to Mukden only a few' mouths ago to assist Dr. Christie in founding a now mcdical college in connection with the mission there. A brilliant student, deceased was a native of Birkenhead, and he was tho most recent addition .to the mission stall of the United Free Church.
