« MINING TEOUBLE IN NEW SOUTH WALES. By Tategraph— Press Association—Oojyrieht Sydney, March 21. The wheelers at the South Coast collieries are demanding higher wages. The South Clifton mine has been thrown idle, and at several other mines the men have given notice of their intention to ccaso work unless their demands are conceded. A SYMPATHETIC MINISTER, Melbourne, March 21. The Federal Minister for Home Affairs, Mr. King O'Malloy, has contributed ,£SO to the harvester workers' strike fund. BROKEN HILL DISPUTE. (Dec. March 22, 0.50 a.m.) Sydney, , March 21. At n referendum the Broken Hill miners voted largely in favour of signing a wages agreement with the proprietors.
