TO-DAY'S DINNER.

(Specially written for Tnis Dominion.) TUESDAY. Steak ailrl oyster pudding. Potatoes. Hashed turnips. Banana fritters. Treaclo tart. STEAK AND OYSTER PUDDING. Half a pound of flour, quarter pound of suet, one level teasnoonful of baking powder, a pinch of salt, two pounds oi steak, two dozen oysters, one dessertspoonful of flour, one teasuoonful of salt, Quarter teaspoonful of [iepper. Shred and chop the suet. Mix the flour, suet, baking powder, and salt together. Make a well, and mix to a stiff paste with cold water. Turn on to a floured board, work out the cracks, and roll out about quarter-inch thick. Greaso a pudding basin, and line it with this crust. Cut the steak into small pieces. Mix the flour, pepper, and salt together, and roll the steak in it. Beard the oysters, and cut them in half. Put the steak and oysters into the pudding basin, and half fill it with water. with the rest of the crust. Tie down tightly and boil for four hours. Turn out and serve. FOR TO-MORROW. Mrs. Gray wore a ver.i pretty white frock, and a black toque with an osprey plume fastened by an irridescent buckle. Mrs. Bristow was in dark blue costume, and a black hat with roses. Miss Bristow had on a grey frieze costume, and a grey hat to match, while her sister was in a pale green frieze coal and skirt, and a hat of the same colour.
